Dr. Atiyeh is a primary care physician specializing in family medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico and his doctorate in medicine from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. He has extensive training and experience in various fields of healthcare, and has experience working in both private practice and emergency medicine settings. Dr. Atiyeh is dedicated to the health and wellbeing of his patients. Dr. Atiyeh credits his mother as being his motivator to become a doctor. She was a practicing nurse prior to getting married and starting a family. And although he never got to see his mother working, he shared her reason and passion for wanting a career in medicine – to help others. “For me to be a doctor is very rewarding, ” he said. “I am taking care of the most valuable quality people have, their health. I love to be the one making positive changes or impacts in their lives.” Dr. Atiyeh appreciates the trust his patients have in him and his ability to help them achieve a better and healthier life. He strives to be compassionate and to take the necessary time to listen and help his patients. In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano and painting.
