Nicolle Ocasio Abrams, MD

Description

Dr. Abrams is a pediatric endocrinologist at Johns Hopkins All Children’s. She sees patients at the hospital’s main campus in St. Petersburg, Florida, and at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Outpatient Care, Brandon. She joined the hospital staff in 2023.  Dr. Abrams earned her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. She completed her pediatric residency and fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital.   Her research and clinical interests include the type 2 diabetes population and how social determinants of health can impact proper disease management. She speaks Spanish.
